Players
Prior to week 1, each team picks anyone from the NFL to fill the following positions:
- 1 Quarterback
- 2 Running Backs
- 3 Wide Receivers
- 1 Tight End
- 1 Kicker
- 1 Team Defense
You can only use each player once during the season, so you may want to save stars for the playoffs. For example, if you start Peyton Manning in week 1, you can't start him again for the rest of the year.
Leagues
Leagues are either public or private. There is a maximum of 30 teams per league. Why so many? Since there is no draft, there is no shortage of players to go around. Many times you will start the same player as other teams in your league. For instance, if Peyton Manning is throwing against a week pass defense in week 12, you may have 4 teams in your league starting Peyton Manning that week.
Playoffs
The playoffs are during weeks 14 – 17. Half of the teams in your league make the playoffs. If you have an odd number of teams in your league, the number of playoff teams is rounded up. Review the example below:
Example
30 teams in league / 2 = 15 playoff teams
19 teams in league / 2 = 10 playoff teams
The scores are reset at the beginning of week 14. The team to score the most points during the playoffs wins the league.
